Our Story

Welcome to our story—one that’s steeped in culture and served with purpose.
I’m Harpreet, the founder and creator of Hapi Nani.
My story began in Punjab, India. Growing up in a farming family, food was a way of life, it was a tradition, a connection to community, and livelihood. We grew grains and vegetables, raised chickens, and drank fresh milk. My parents still continue this farming practice today. Now, I see how special this way of life truly was.
My grandmother (Nani) was a significant influence in my life, her poise, grace, and strength was truly inspiring. Widowed at a young age, she raised her four children alone, ensuring they received the best education and skills to succeed. Later, she took care of her grandkids and remained active well into her nineties without any health issues. We would often visit a tiny, dimly lit shop, a small general food store, that smelled like species and burlap. The owner would make custom spice and herbal blends based on the season or occasion. These cherished childhood memories inspired me to share simple, mindful practices through my line of artisanal teas and spices.
Hapi Nani began as a fun pop-up at the local Christmas Bazaar with my son, where we had a blast and nearly sold out. The name itself combines my nickname, "Happy," and "Nani," which means grandmother in Punjabi, translating to "Happy Grandma." Hapi Nani allows me to reconnect with my roots while offering something special, all while creating lasting memories and deepening my bond with my son and the community.
Each blend is created with science backed ingredients —and serves a purpose, whether to help you relax, feel better, or simply enjoy a perfect cup of tea. Hapi Nani is all about mindfulness and intention. Through every sip and bite, I hope to share a piece of my heritage and my heart, helping others reconnect with natural wellness.
Crafted with love, tradition, and gratitude, Hapi Nani reflects our journey so far and the one ahead.
